I have an interview tomorrow afternoon for an Administrative Secretary position at a counseling office in town, it will be my first interview strictly for a full-time position and I am incredibly nervous for it. I’ve just graduated with an AA in general studies and I’ve been working as a receptionist at a car dealership for a little over two years now. I don’t feel as confident as I would like to, as receptionist work at a car dealership doesn’t feel as respectable as other front desk positions. This job would pay well, it’s within walking distance, and it would be an overall incredible opportunity for me–so i’m feeling the pressure. They’ve let me know that the interview will be recorded in order for HR to review it and this makes me more nervous. There will also be a test of some kind. If anyone has any helpful advice or experience with interviews like this/for a similar position I would be very grateful! Thanks!
