Business Development Executive – Flood Marketing – Sheridan, WY

Flood Marketing is looking for a full-time business development executive to join our expanding team! Daily expectations will include actively seeking, identifying, and qualifying leads for Flood locally, regionally, nationally, internationally, and intergalactically (proactively exploring opportunities). They will also work closely with Project Owners to develop and pitch a scope of work suited to those needs to remove the pain for clients. They should be an outgoing and friendly individual, with the ability to find creative solutions to complex problems as well as clearly understand clients’ business goals. “BDE’s” work as the main representative of the company during the sales process and are trusted to communicate Flood’s capabilities accurately and honestly. It is expected that they have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and are able to clearly communicate how Flood can be the solution for potential clients.

This position currently requires 40-50 hours/week in our Sheridan office, while understanding that late evenings, early mornings, and weekends are sometimes required.

Requirements & Expectations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Sales
  • or (2) years experience in a related field, with proven experience
  • Knowledge of Sandler Sales Training
  • Enjoys creating excitement
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales processes
  • Flexibility when working with a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, including ability to handle multiple tasks with rapid deadlines
  • Self-motivated, driven, dependable, and highly creative
  • Open and willing to make changes to your work
  • Desire to go above and beyond given direction
  • Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter social platforms
  • Eagerness to help on short notice
  • Occasional availability past regularly scheduled hours
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
  • Previous experience working within an agile/scrum framework
  • Enjoys working in an open office environment
  • Expert level cookie baking—soft, not hard
